Maffucci syndrome is a rare, nonhereditary disorder manifesting early in life.The syndrome is characterized by presence of multiple hemangiomas and enchondromas mostly affecting the extremities.Haemangiomas are usually cutaneous, but may sometimes be visceral as well.
